The Csík Basin, in the eastern part of the Carpathian homeland, is a special place and plays an important role. The sacred places are formed in two different ways. One is created by God and marked out for man, while the other is created by man and sacred to God. It is most fortunate when the place marked by God is recognized and operated by man for the glory of God. This is what the Csík Basin was and should be. Our relational (analogical) thinking is important to recognize the role of a landscape in our lives and to understand the sacred actions of the fathers of old.

The shape of the basin resembles a bean, a kidney. The term BAB expresses the role of this basin, the transfiguring BÁB1, giving birth and rebirth to BABA2 with the contribution of the most sacred feminine quality represented by BABA3 and BABBA4. If WE look at the shape, WE will notice that where the bean sprouts, the mountain of Somlyó is correspondingly prominent in nature.

If we compare the shape of the basin with the shape of the kidney, we find the same thing, i.e. where the kidney passage is located, we find the mountain of Somlyó. The kidneys are responsible, among other things, for the metabolism in our body, i.e. they are the organ of filtration and purification. In spiritual terms, since it is our organ of couples, it is a symbol of relationships.

Combining the body and soul analogies, the kidney is the organ responsible for our relationships, maintaining balance by continual purification. Couple relationships are not only understood on a physical level, but also on a spiritual level, and can even be related to relationship with God. If we look even more closely at the shape of the Csík basin, and the kidney, we can also see that the cap- like projection corresponding to its adrenal gland can be found above Csíkszentdomokos, as the valley passes through Balánbánya up to the foot of the Nagyhagymás. The adrenal gland is responsible for, among other things, vital energy, growth and spiritually speaking, our emotional and mental state.

In summary, the Good Creator God has given us a sacred space in which, if we live holy, we are capable of being born again, as an individual, a nation, even the whole of humanity, transfigured by the Holy Spirit. Through constant purification, to live in a pure and harmonious relationship with God and with fellow human beings, and for this, to receive vital energy, joy of life, growth, with the protective and loving help of the good Blessed Virgin.

The centre of it all is the aforementioned Csíksomlyó.

This is illustrated in the following picture. The Csík Basin is made up of two horseshoe-shaped basins facing each other and a circular basin in the middle. Although the horseshoe of Felcsík is smaller, both horseshoes are separated from Középcsík by a distinct narrow strait. It is as if there were two opposing landscapes results in a median plane in the middle, from which protrudes Csíksomlyó. If we look for a parallel to this to understand this, the analogy of the miraculous transfiguration of the Lord Jesus Christ on Mount Tabor provides the explanation. For when space and time are torn apart, the disciples see the glorified Jesus Christ.

Here you can already feel that the ancients felt and knew something, because tuned to the landscape created and sanctified by God, they recognized and sanctified the place by the Holy Spirit, since the day of the farewell of the chapel on Mount Somlyó is the 6th of August, the feast day of the transfiguration of the Lord Jesus Christ.
